Marsha Moller joined the staff at BSLC in 1998. As Music Director, she plays the organ during services and works closely with the church choir. Following her lead on the piano, the members of the choir function without any other direction.

“I am so proud of their ability to offer quality anthems to our worship service experience at BSLC, even without an actual choir director,” Marsha said. “I have to say that it works for us though. There has been mention of me wearing a hat with a tall feather; however, I have not yet given in to that suggestion.”

A native of Walsh, Colo., a small farming community in the southeastern region of the state, Marsha studied music education at Colorado State University in Fort Collins before relocating to Amarillo.

Outside of her duties with the church, Marsha worked as the payroll adviser to the Amarillo Independent School District until her retirement in 2011, although she continued her services to the school district as a retiree until January of 2015 when she, along with her husband Jerry, embarked on a new adventure in full retirement. Together they stay busy keeping up with their six grandchildren, three boys and three girls.
